Reproduction Vintage Apron

Did this one last night. Inspired by a pink and brown vintage apron on Sunshine's website!

Scrubbing floors and painting the kitchen. Just realized, I am painting my kitchen and my family room in this color! LOL.....I think I'm on a "Cottage Yellow" kick at the moment.

Thanks for blogging with me today.

One last thought.....give thanks for the service our fine young men and women have given us through the years. If you see a service person today...thank them!

Abundant Blessings,
G

Kim, I love this one too. I think it is one of my top 5 favorites!! The colors are so yummy. I is so pretty in person. I wish you could see it and feel it. I have enough of the butternut squash gold color to make about 4 of these. But I have to buy the Daisy Kingdom fabric. It is a bit on the pricey side, but at the looks of this apron, well worth it!! The vintage creamy colored rick rack has the perfect tonal quality to set both fabrics off!! I'm keeping this apron for myself! I rarely make one for myself, but this will be my personal third apron. I wear a repurposed denim jumper for my full apron, I have a workhorse apron made from a really soft sage green cotton and now this one that I will save for family holiday meals! Thanks Kim!!! You should be getting your box any day now. I insured it, so let me know if they ...dread of all dreads.....lose it!! ARGH G

I love the apron. The colors are so beautiful. Hey, thanks for my gift. It seems we collect the same thing. I have a weakness for old cookbooks, too. I love them. Just looking at them makes me wish I lived in that time era. That is when women were LADIES. Reminds me of June Cleaver. To bad I'm more like Annie Oakley. haha
Went and watch my oldest son in the parade today, it was sad and proud all at the same time. He leaves July 17. Just keep him and his fellow service men and women in your prayers please. Thanks,
Laura
