The Red Dress Club!

New dress I threw together today. This one is for sale and will be going to the shop tomorrow. It has a Ralph Lauren tank top sewn to homespun and vintage gauze with a reverse hip belt. It is slit up the sides with hand pulled thread shaggy edges. It has a great spin and can be worn as a sundress or a swim suit coverup. It is cotton comfort at its best!! The colors are a rich rusty red and cream.

Aunt George,
That is a really great dress, just love it, wish I lived near that store that its going to. What size have you been making your clothes for the store?

I try to design everything to fit from a size 8 to a size 24. I know that sounds like a wide range, but if the cut and swirl are right, it will compliment most figures! Just depends on how sexy one wants the neckline! LOL....thanks Nancy Jo and Tasha! And everyone else!! There are more in production....just no more of this fabric or top. This top is super nice...hook and eye closures down the whole front. My hubby came in and saw this one and loved it too...that is very unusual for him.

Final thoughts...

Thank you for visiting today. Feel free to sit for a spell and wander through my archives of sewing projects, aprons, original poems and stories, musings and vintage treasures. I really love guests in my home....and if you wish, leave me a comment so I will know you were here! AG
